AMD Gives Embedded Systems a Shot of DirectX 11

AMD says the chips in its new Embedded G-Series are the world's first APUs for embedded systems. They will contain DirectX 11 GPUs, x86 CPUs and parallel processing engines. "Given the rise in media-centric technology devices that can profit from embedded processors with more intensive graphic capabilities, this seems a good way for it to leverage its ATI assets," said Pund-IT's Charles King.
